Dr. Javaid R. Laghari is the CEO of ZabSolutions and the Project Director of SZABIST. He has been previously a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo for over 15 years, and has published over 120 research papers in refereed journals and presented over 70 papers at International Conferences.

Dr. Laghari has performed sponsored research for National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA), the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Naval Research Lab (NRL), the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA), the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO), the Strategic Defense Initiatives (SDI), Hughes Aircraft and the Boeing Aerospace Company.

He has organized numerous International Conferences and chaired a large number of Sessions and Workshops. Dr. Laghari is a Member of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST), Senior Member of the IEEE (USA), Member of the ACM (USA), Member of the New York Academy of Sciences, the Executive Committee of the Asia University Federation (AUF), and is the recipient of the Distinguished Leadership Award, 1987, the International Cultural Diploma of Honor, 1988, and the IEEE Award for Leadership and Dedicated Services, 1994 and the coveted national award ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’ conferred by the President of Pakistan in 1999. Dr. Laghari is listed in the American Men and Women of Science, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in the World, Member of the Sindh Information Technology Board, Pakistan Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) IT Board, Member of the ACM (USA) and Chairman of the ACM (Karachi chapter).

His area of expertise is UNIX-based systems and Hardware Interfacing. He has provided consultancy for numerous National and International projects.

He was also a member of the team that developed and managed BCS and MCS Programs at ILM on behalf of Hamdard University and BCS, MCS, BBA and MBA Programs at Bahria University.

Wasim is the sixth semester student at SZABIST. He is currently working as an internee at ZabSolutions Since December 2007. His interests are System Analysis and Designing along with the Database development, and Computer Programming. He has worked on different programming languages including C, C++, C#, Java, GWBasic, Fox Pro, Visual Basic and Visual Basic for Applications. He has also worked on different web development Languages and tools including ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, JAVAScript, SilverLight and AJAX etc. He has strong knowledge of tools including DreamWeaver, Visual Studio 2005, NetBeans 10 etc. He has also worked on different Databases like MS SQL Server 2000, MS SQL Server 2005 and MySQL. Mr.Rizwan Has been working with programming languages for the past 3 years and has developed the ability to fulfill all expectations that are kept of him.

Presently he is doing his Bachelors in Computer Science from SZABIST and will graduate in the year 2009. He is well versed in C, C++, C#, JAVA, ASP.NET, PHP, Ajax, MYSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. He also displayed his management skills by pro actively organizing a seminar in SZABIST, at his young age, which was featured in "The Financial Daily". Being a student of Software Engineering he is well aware of the fact that technology is rapidly evolving and so is the need for providing innovative solutions. That is why he always keeps himself up to date with the latest trends in IT.

Junior Software Developer

Mr. Mobin is studying in the 6th semester. Currently he is doing his internship at Zabsolutions with a specialization in Web Development. He is interested in Web Development, Game Designing, Desktop Applications, and is also inquistive about hacking. Of the different programming languages that he has worked on, his favorites are C, C++, C#, Java, and Visual Basic for Applications. As far as web development languages are concerned, ASP.NET is on top of his list. But he is also skilled in the open source PHP as well. SQL Server, MS ACCESS and MYSQL and are the databases that he has worked with.
